Why Are They Endangered?

 North of us, there are small villages where Eskimos live. The Eskimos hunt Beluga Whales for food and other needs. Lipstick is made out of whale's blubber and shark liver.

The Cook Inlet has killed more than 50% of the Beluga whale population. Unfortunately the population still hasn’t recovered and the conditions have gotten worse.

There are now an estimated 375 Beluga Whales in the Cook Inlet compared with 653 back in 1995.
